Well, 2013 has not been a very good year for me, two weeks before departure knee locked, travel canceled with the despair of my wife .The costume was ok for Remiremont 2013 , this event allows us to see a lot more costumes than in Venice and this in just two days.
For the 2014 carnival costume waited for 1 year, everything went well except that I personally find that the atmosphere is less good and it is increasingly difficult to cross dressed, the spirit of sharing seems to disappear carnival replaced by photo shoots sly each in his corner. If 2015 is the same spirit I think be present each 2 years and enjoy demonstrations made ??by the various associations in France which generally have a better spirit.
Pessimistic? No, the 2015 Victorian costume is finished in tone green and red and gold.

Yes I plead guilty, my site was not really up to date, even if you were numerous to see that 2012 pictures were well presented for the 2D version since mid March 2012 nothing indicated that on the cover page,
The first 2013 resolution I would never do that again !

February 10 2008: Pictures of the 2008 Venice Carnival are here. The masks were present good weather not really. If the beginning of the week was acceptable this was not the case for the weekend in the rain, not a real problem because Saturday and Sunday in Venice Carnival is impractical due to the huge amont of visitors. This year fewer people than previous years, may be this is due to the proximity of 2007 christmas holiday.
